Job Description: computer knowledge is compulsory . A Rolling Mill Supervisor manages shift operations to safely and efficiently produce quality steel products, overseeing crews, monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards (like grade and dimension), and safety regulations, involving coordination with quality control, maintenance, and other departments to optimize output and minimize waste. Key duties include task assignment, process monitoring (temperature, tension, speed), equipment adjustments (roll changes, setups), quality checks, and reporting, requiring strong leadership and technical knowledge. Key Responsibilities

- Production Oversight: Supervise rolling mill operations, ensuring continuous, efficient production of specified steel products (bars, rods, sections).
- Team Management: Lead, motivate, and coordinate shift crews, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and developing staff.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality against specifications, working with QC teams to meet customer requirements and reduce scrap.
- Process & Equipment: Oversee mill setups, roll changes,



and equipment adjustments; monitor key parameters (temperature, tension, speed).
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce all HSE (Health, Safety, Setting) regulations, promoting a safe work environment and reporting incidents.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve operational, mechanical, or process problems quickly to minimize downtime.
- Coordination: Liaise with other departments like maintenance, shipping, and quality control.
- Reporting: Generate reports on production metrics, performance, and compliance.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in rolling mill operations (bar, rod, or section mills).
- Leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of rolling mill machinery, processes, and technical specifications.
- Problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of HSE management systems and procedures.
