seeking a highly experienced and energetic Plant Head to oversee our surface finishing operations. You will manage daily plant activities, drive operational efficiency, and maintain strict quality standards. This role requires extensive technical expertise in surface coating processes within the automotive sector.

Core Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Lead and manage all daily plant manufacturing operations.
- Optimize production capacity, workflow, and resource utilization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for plant efficiency.
Technical Oversight
- Supervise specialized process lines (Powder Coating, ED Coating, Anodising).
- Troubleshoot technical issues in chemical baths and curing ovens.
- Implement advanced surface treatment technologies and best practices.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all outputs meet rigorous automotive industry standards (IATF 16949).
- Minimize rejection rates through robust root-cause analysis.
- Enforce strict environmental, health, and safety (EHS) protocols.
Team Leadership & Budgeting
- Mentoring and developing production supervisors and engineering staff.
- Manage plant operational budgets, raw materials, and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with supply chain and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Candidate Profile
Mandatory Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Process Expertise: Proven track record managing Powder Coating, ED Coating, or Anodising lines.
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering.
Key Skills
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Deep knowledge of automotive quality management systems.
- Expertise in Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies.
