- Specimen Tracking: Receive, log, and track tissue samples and lab requests to make sure test results come back fast.

- Team Communication: Act as the main link between doctors, nurses, and lab workers.

- Data and Records: Enter patient data and test notes into digital health systems with high accuracy.

- Safety and Rules: Keep the lab safe and clean by following health laws and infection control standards.

- Supply Control: Order and stock test kits, lab tools, and chemical supplies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education:



High school diploma required; associate or bachelor degree in medical technology or science preferred.

- Certifications: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification is often preferred or required for clinical roles.

- Experience: Two or more years of work in a medical lab or hospital setting.

- Computer Skills: Good typing skills and knowledge of electronic lab information systems.
