Job Description:

An Accountant with 3 years of experience is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing balance sheets and income statements, managing accounts payable/receivable,

Key Responsibilities

- General Ledger & Reporting: Maintain accurate general ledgers, perform bank reconciliations, and prepare monthly/annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements).
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage vendor payments, reconcile invoices, and ensure timely collections.
- Compliance & Tax: Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, income tax) and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Financial Analysis & Budgeting: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and conducting variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Audit Support:



Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in accounting systems and implement improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role.

Job Location: Arusha, Tanzania (Africa)
