A power press mc operator's job description includes:

- Operating the press: Producing printed materials, ensuring the quality of the print, and following safety regulations
- Maintaining the press: Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and cleaning the press
- Monitoring performance: Monitoring the machine's performance and making adjustments to maintain production efficiency
- Coordinating with others: Coordinating with other operators and supervisors to meet deadlines and production schedules
- Completing paperwork: Completing paperwork and maintaining production records
- Inspecting the product: Checking printed material for color and other aesthetics
- Adjusting the press: Adjusting the press machine in all conditions and repairing it if required
