Axi Draft provides CAD and mechanical design support to fencing manufacturers, fabricators, and engineering companies in international markets.

We are looking for a motivated CAD design engineer with strong Solid Works skills who wants hands-on experience and long-term growth in mechanical design.

About the Role

n

You will work on real fabrication and mechanical design projects for international clients in the fencing and fabrication industry.

n

This role provides direct project responsibility, client exposure, and practical experience in professional engineering workflows.

n

It is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong career in mechanical design and CAD engineering.

n

This is not a basic tracing or repetitive drafting role. You will be expected to understand how parts are made and assembled.

n

Required Technical Skills

n

- Strong Solid Works proficiency:

n

- Part modelling
n
- Assemblies
n
- Weldments
n
- Sheet metal
n
- Proper drawing detailing
n

n

- Good understanding of:

- Assembly relationships and constraints

- Manufacturing drawings
n
- GD&T; basics (preferred)

- Ability to create and update:

- Sheet formats

- Drawing templates
n
- BOM tables
n

- Good eye for detail in modelling and drafting

- Professional email writing skills

- Ability to understand overseas client instructions

- Able to interpret technical requirements with minimal supervision

Education & Experience

n

- Education: Diploma or B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

- Experience: 3 years minimum
