Job Description: A Store Incharge for a steel company manages inventory, materials, and warehouse operations, including tracking steel stocks, raw materials, and spares. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring accurate ERP documentation, managing GRN/stacking, controlling material inward/outward, and enforcing safety regulations within the plant. Key Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Maintaining optimal stock levels, conducting regular physical stock takes, and minimizing stockouts.
- Material Control: Handling daily material inward/outward (e.g., steel plates, sections, rods, fasteners), and ensuring proper receipt and inspection for damages.
- Documentation & ERP: Maintaining accurate records, managing GRN (Goods Received Note), and preparing daily reports using ERP systems.
- Warehouse Operations: Ensuring proper storage, stacking,



and organization of raw materials and finished goods to optimize space.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforcing safety protocols and maintaining store cleanliness.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in steel, ferro alloys, or similar heavy industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in inventory software (ERP/SAP) and Microsoft Office.
- Competencies: Robust leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

Typical Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Material Management.
