Role & responsibilities
Test and analyze raw materials, in-process blends, and finished products like greases, motor oils, and fuels.
Responsible for sample preparation, operating testing equipment, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a secure, organized laboratory environment.
Collect, label, prepare, and store samples of crude oil, lubricants, Oil and grease according to established protocols.
Perform physical and chemical property tests (e.g., viscosity, flash point, density, and distillation) under the guidance of senior personnel. Equipment Maintenance: Clean, sterilize, calibrate, and troubleshoot standard laboratory instruments to ensure accurate readings.
Compare test results against established manufacturing formulas and ASTM, ISO, or DIN standards to flag any deviations.
Log raw data,



maintain test reports, and utilize laboratory management systems to record findings accurately.
Adhere strictly to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and health/safety regulations.

Preferred candidate profile
0 - 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the oil and lubricant manufacturing industry.
Must be comfortable working with chemicals and standing for extended periods; requires high attention to detail.
Familiarity with laboratory instruments (e.g., viscometers, flash point apparatus, and analytical scales).
Solid organizational and data-entry abilities.
Understanding of occupational hazards and secure handling of hazardous petrochemical materials.
