Role & responsibilities

Independently handle litigation matters across:
Civil Law: Property disputes, recovery suits, injunctions, etc.
Criminal Law: Complaints, bail applications, trial proceedings
Family Law: Divorce, maintenance, custody, domestic violence cases
Real Estate & Property Disputes
Banking & Financial Matters: Recovery, SARFAESI matters.
Represent clients before courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial authorities, and government

bodies
Draft, review, and vet legal documents (English & Marathi), including:
Pleadings, written statements, affidavits
Agreements, contracts, and legal notices
Conduct legal due diligence, title verification, and property search reports
Handle non-litigation work including documentation, advisory, and compliance
Provide legal opinions and strategic advice to clients
Coordinate with clients, advocates, banking authorities, and government departments
Manage case files, documentation, and ensure timely follow-ups and filings
Appear regularly in court and independently handle proceedings
Supervise and mentor junior associates and interns
Stay updated with legal developments and regulatory changes

Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) & (LLM) from a recognized university




69 years of relevant experience in litigation with exposure to non-litigation work
Strong drafting skills in English and Marathi
In-depth knowledge of civil, criminal, family, property, and banking laws
Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to independently manage multiple cases and deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills
Court practice experience in district courts and tribunals
Ability to handle high-pressure litigation environments efficiently.
Experience in title search and property due diligence
Exposure to RERA matters
