Job Title: Senior Jira Service Management (JSM) Architect / Implementation Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior JSM Architect / Implementation Consultant to lead both the architecture and hands-on implementation aspects of this engagement. This role requires an expert who goes beyond basic Jira knowledge; you must be a true Solution Architect capable of driving complex integrations, advanced automations, and workflow optimization for enterprise-scale environments.

Key Responsibilities
Assessment & Discovery:
Conduct current-state assessments of the existing JSM workplace.
Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
Identify gaps in processes, automations, integrations, and asset management.
Solution Architecture:
Design the future-state JSM architecture.
Define explicit implementation and testing strategies.
Create detailed design documentation and deployment approaches.
Integration & Automation:
Design and implement integrations with Kyndryl systems (Service Desk, Field Services) and HPE Core Services platforms.




Drive workflow automation and optimize service management processes.
JSM Platform Enhancement:
Improve KRAMIT and Asset Management capabilities within the existing JSM instance.
Optimize configurations, CMDB/asset relationships, reporting, and governance.
Implementation & Delivery:
Partner closely with the KiwiRail team to implement the future-state solution.
Execute and validate test plans.
Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues to ensure successful deployment.
Transition & Documentation:
Hand over the implemented solution to BAU (Business-As-Usual) support teams.
Produce design documents, implementation records, and test outcome documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:
JSM Expertise: Robust Jira Service Management (JSM) Architecture and Administration background, including Jira Assets (formerly Insight).
