Position: Medical Social Worker

Medical Superintendent / HR Manager / Hospital Administrator

Qualification
Master of Social Work (MSW) – Medical & Psychiatric Social Work preferred
Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) may be considered based on experience

Experience
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
Freshers with robust communication and counseling skills may also be considered

Key Responsibilities
Provide psychosocial assessment and counseling to patients and their families.
Assist patients in understanding their diagnosis, treatment plan, and available support services.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
Guide patients regarding government healthcare schemes, insurance, financial assistance, and NGO support.
Facilitate discharge planning and rehabilitation services for patients requiring long-term care.
Support patients with emotional, psychological, and social concerns.
Maintain accurate patient case records, documentation, and follow-up reports.




Coordinate referrals to external agencies and community support organizations when required.
Participate in patient education programs, awareness campaigns, and community outreach activities.
Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and ethical standards.
Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during medical emergencies or bereavement situations.
