Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the Financials/accounting modules of our ERP system. This will include functionalities like accounts payable/ receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, financial reporting, etc.
Leverage your accounting knowledge to identify and test for potential errors in financial data processing and reporting.
Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand recent features and ensure quality testing throughout the development lifecycle.
Execute test scripts, identify bugs and defects, and document them clearly for efficient resolution by the development team.




Participate in regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after recent updates.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for ERP testing methodologies and tools.
Maintain clear and concise test documentation for future reference.

Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on ERP systems.
Proven experience in testing accounting functionalities.

Robust understanding of accounting principles (general ledger, accounts payable/ receivable, etc.)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
