Key Accountabilities:
Review Form 1065 and 1120 and other business tax returns to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation. This includes federal, state, and local tax returns.
Ensure that all tax filings comply with the latest tax laws and regulations. Assist in tax planning activities to minimize the organizations tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance.
Stay up to date with the latest changes in tax laws, regulations, and case law. Conduct detailed tax research to support tax compliance and planning efforts.
Maintain explicit and thorough records of tax filings, correspondence, and supporting documents. Assist in preparing tax reports for management and auditors.
Collaborate with clients (internal or external) to gather information required for accurate tax filings.



Address client queries and provide explanations regarding tax positions and filings.
Assist with tax audits, special tax projects, and other ad-hoc assignments as necessary. This may include review and analysis of tax credits, deductions, or other tax-related matters.
Skill and Experience:
Solid knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Minimum 5 years experience is required.
Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Thomson Reuters, CCH, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
