Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewelry Designer with strong expertise in manual sketching and CorelDRAW. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing original jewellery concepts, preparing accurate technical drawings, and collaborating with Product Development and CAD teams to transform ideas into commercially successful collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Create innovative jewellery concepts through freehand sketches.
- Develop scaled technical drawings in CorelDRAW with multiple views (top, front, side, etc.).
- Prepare detailed product specifications, including stone/diamond details, measurements, estimated weights, and counts.
- Design collections aligned with current market trends, customer requirements, and target price points.
- Work closely with Product Development and CAD teams to convert concepts into production-ready designs.
- Ensure designs are technically feasible and suitable for manufacturing.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3-6 years of jewellery design experience in the fine jewellery industry.
- Solid expertise in manual jewellery sketching and CorelDRAW.
- Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes, stone setting techniques, and metal/diamond weight estimation.
- Ability to create both commercial and premium jewellery collections.
- Good understanding of design trends and customer preferences.
- Adobe Photoshop knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Design qualification from a reputed institute preferred.
