About the Role:

We are an exclusive diamond maison based out of Chandigarh, where precision and trust are as valuable as the jewels we curate. As a Junior Accountant (L5), you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial backbone of our operations. You will support our Senior Accountant (L8) in managing vendor ledgers, payment cycles, and the ledger side of books to stock control, while conducting periodic audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Senior Accountant (L8) in managing vendor ledgers, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Handle payment cycles, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Maintain the ledger side of books related to stock control, ensuring alignment with inventory records.
- Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of financial data and stock records.
- Prepare and organize financial documents, reports, and statements for review.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure financial records match physical stock.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and vendor information.
