Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Economics Teacher to join our dynamic educational team in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging economics instruction to secondary-level students, fostering critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of economic principles. This role is vital in shaping students’ ability to interpret real-world economic issues, make informed decisions, and develop a strong foundation in social sciences. The teacher will employ innovative, student-centered methodologies to promote active learning, classroom participation, and academic excellence. Preference is given to female applicants and candidates residing locally in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver comprehensive and interactive economics lessons aligned with the secondary curriculum

- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application

- Utilize diverse teaching strategies such as case studies, discussions, simulations, and multimedia resources





- Conduct regular assessments using a mix of formative and summative methods, including quizzes, projects, and presentations

- Provide constructive, timely feedback to support student growth and academic progress

- Maintain an organized, inclusive, and engaging classroom setting that encourages curiosity and active participation

- Collaborate with the teaching team on curriculum development, student support, and school initiatives

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, progress, and academic milestones

Requirements
Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching Economics at the secondary level

- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commerce, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

- Strong subject knowledge and proven ability to simplify complex economic concepts for students

- Proficiency in using digital tools and educational technology to enhance instruction

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills

- Experience in designing assessments and tracking student progress

- Preference for female candidates and applicants residing in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad
