Job Summary

G-TEC Education, Poovar is seeking a passionate and skilled Fashion Designing Faculty to deliver high-quality training in fashion design, garment construction, textile science, and fashion illustration. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students to build successful careers in the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver classroom and practical training in Fashion Designing.
- Teach subjects such as:
- Fashion Illustration
- Pattern Making
- Garment Construction
- Textile Science
- Surface Ornamentation
- Fashion Merchandising
- Computer-Aided Fashion Designing (if applicable)
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Conduct assessments, practical exams, and evaluate student performance.
- Guide students in portfolio development and project work.
- Provide career guidance and placement support to students.
- Maintain student attendance, progress reports, and academic records.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of sewing machines, equipment, and laboratory facilities.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, industry practices, and emerging technologies.
- Participate in seminars, workshops, exhibitions,



and institutional events.
- Support admission counselling and promotional activities when required.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree in Fashion Designing, Apparel Design, Costume Design, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching or industry experience is preferred.
- Freshers with robust practical skills and good communication abilities may also apply.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of garment construction and pattern making.
- Proficiency in fashion illustration and design concepts.
- Knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and apparel production.
- Familiarity with fashion design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or CLO 3D) is an advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong classroom management and mentoring abilities.
- Creativity, patience, and a passion for teaching.

Experience

- Preferred: 1–3 years of teaching or industry experience.
- Freshers with excellent practical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Salary

- Salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and institutional norms.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
