An Air Export Pricing qualified in the freight forwarding or logistics sector is responsible for securing, analyzing, and negotiating competitive air freight rates with airlines and agents. They prepare accurate, timely quotations (RFQs) to help sales teams win business while protecting company profit margins.

Responsibilities

- Rate Procurement & Negotiation: Procure spot rates and establish rate contracts directly with airlines, consolidators, and trucking vendors.
- Quotation & Tender Management: Prepare and issue prompt, customized freight rate quotations and RFQs for clients and internal sales teams, ensuring quick Turn-Around Time (TAT).
- Market Analysis: Monitor global air cargo market trends, rate fluctuations, and airline capacity constraints to develop highly competitive pricing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with operations, sales, and destination offices to guarantee smooth shipment execution and high customer satisfaction.
- Database Management: Maintain and update tariff sheets, pricing databases, and cost sheets using freight forwarding software
