Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in designing Special Purpose Machines SPM The ideal candidate should be proficient in using SolidWorks and have a strong background in concept development mechanical systems design and detailing for custom automation or machinery solutions Key Responsibilities Design and develop Special Purpose Machines SPM from concept to manufacturing Create 3D models assemblies and detailed 2D drawings using SolidWorks Perform calculations and analysis for mechanical components e g stress torque material selection Collaborate with electrical controls and production teams for integrated machine development Participate in design reviews modifications and continuous improvement efforts Generate Bill of Materials BOM assembly instructions and support documentation Ensure designs meet customer specifications quality safety and manufacturing standards Support machine installation testing and commissioning as needed Requirements Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2 years of experience in mechanical design with a focus on Special Purpose Machines Proficiency in SolidWorks Part Assembly Drawing Simulation preferred Robust understanding of mechanical components like bearings actuators pneumatics hydraulics and automation elements Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining fabrication and assembly Familiarity with GD T tolerance stack-up and design for manufacturability DFM Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications Good communication skills and teamwork orientation Preferred candidate profile Role Design Engineer Industry Type Industrial Equipment Machinery Department Production Manufacturing Engineering Employment Type Full Time Permanent Role Category Engineering Education UG B Tech B E in Mechanical Key Skills SPMSolid Works Special Purpose MachinesConveyorsSPM DesignMachine DesignSpecial Purpose Machine Desig Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 10 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Work Location In person
