PIONEER STEELS Job Title Senior Accountant Location Thudiyalur Coimbatore Department Finance Accounts Reports to Finance Manager Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with in-depth knowledge of Goods and Services Tax GST regulations and compliance The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company s full accounting processes with a focus on indirect taxation GST statutory reporting and internal financial controls Key Responsibilities Accounting Financial Management Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements Conduct account reconciliations general ledger scrutiny and journal entries Monitor accounts payable receivable and manage cash flow reporting GST Compliance Indirect Taxation Ensure full compliance with GST laws and regulations Prepare and file monthly quarterly and annual GST returns GSTR-1 GSTR-3B GSTR-9 etc Reconcile GST returns with books of accounts Manage input tax credit ITC reconciliation and optimization Respond to GST notices audits and inquiries from tax authorities Advise management on changes in GST law and their impact on business operations Audit Reporting Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors during audits Assist in preparation of audit schedules and financial disclosures Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and regulatory requirements Team Collaboration Support Support junior accountants and guide them on tax and accounting issues Collaborate with other departments procurement sales logistics for GST-related issues Requirements Education B Com M Com CA Inter CMA MBA Finance or equivalent Experience Minimum 7 years in accounting with strong exposure to GST compliance Technical Skills Proficiency in Tally Software Knowledge of GST portal and e-invoicing e-way bill system Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Preferred Qualifications Experience in trading or service industries Hands-on experience with GST audits or litigation Salary Competitive based on experience Employment Type Full-Time Working Hours 09 30am - 06 30pm Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person Speak with the employer 91 (phone hidden)
