Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Design Engineer to join our team and lead the design and development of advanced filling machines for a variety of industries such as food beverage pharmaceuticals and cosmetics The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to create efficient reliable and high-performing machinery while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements Key Responsibilities Machine Design and Development Lead the design and development of filling machines including volumetric gravimetric and other filling technologies Create detailed 3D models assemblies and technical drawings using Solid Works software Design systems for precision filling ensuring accuracy speed and consistency Incorporate innovative technologies including automation robotics to enhance machine performance Project Management Manage multiple design projects from concept to delivery adhering to budgets and timelines Collaborate with clients to define project specifications and ensure design alignment with customer needs Provide regular project updates and resolve design or production challenges promptly Performance Optimization Analyze and improve existing designs to enhance machine efficiency reliability and durability Design machines for easy cleaning maintenance and regulatory compliance e g CIP SIP systems for food and pharma applications Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness Technical Leadership Mentor and guide junior engineers sharing best practices and technical expertise Conduct design reviews and ensure designs meet industry standards and organizational quality metrics Stay updated with advancements in filling technologies and apply them to machine development Testing and Validation Oversee prototype development testing and validation to ensure machines meet performance requirements Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for performance issues Collaboration Work closely with manufacturing procurement and quality assurance teams to facilitate seamless machine production and assembly Support sales and marketing teams by providing technical insights and developing design presentations Documentation Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications manuals and test reports Ensure proper documentation for intellectual property and patent filings when applicable Qualifications and Skills Educational Background Additional Requirements Familiarity with industry-specific standards e g FDA GMP or ISO 9001 is essential for certain industries Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings on-site installations and troubleshooting Experience with CIP SIP systems and hygienic design for industries with stringent cleanliness requirements What We Offer A competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for career growth and professional development The chance to work on cutting-edge filling machine technologies with global clients A supportive and cutting-edge work environment focused on engineering excellence v Bachelor s or Master s degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field Experience Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in designing filling machines or related automated systems Proven track record of designing systems for industries such as food beverage cosmetics or pharmaceuticals Technical Skills Proficiency in 3D CAD software e g SolidWorks AutoCAD or CATIA Expertise in fluid dynamics precision metering systems and motion control Familiarity with PLCs robotics and automation technologies Knowledge of manufacturing processes like machining welding and sheet metal fabrication Soft Skills Strong leadership and mentoring abilities Excellent problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills Effective communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration Certifications Optional Certifications in Six Sigma automation or project management e g PMP are a plus Job Type Full-time Pay 700 000 00 - 1 200 000 00 per year
