Job Summary The ICU Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients ensuring continuous monitoring timely intervention and adherence to clinical protocols to deliver high-quality patient care Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients admitted in the ICU Monitor vital signs cardiac rhythms hemodynamic parameters and neurological status Operate and manage cardiac monitors defibrillators ventilators infusion pumps and other ICU equipment Administer medications IV fluids and blood products as per physician orders Assist doctors during cardiac emergencies procedures and resuscitation CPR ACLS Identify early signs of patient deterioration and report promptly Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records Ensure infection control practices and patient safety protocols are strictly followed Provide pre- and post-procedural care for cardiac patients Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment medication and post-discharge care Coordinate with doctors technicians and other healthcare staff for optimal patient care Participate in shift handovers and clinical audits Qualifications Experience GNM B Sc Nursing mandatory Minimum 1-3 years of experience in CCU ICU Cardiac ICU ACLS BLS certification preferred Skills Competencies Robust knowledge of cardiac care and critical care nursing Ability to handle emergency situations calmly Proficiency in operating ICU medical equipment Positive communication and teamwork skills Compassionate and patient-centric approach Working Conditions Rotational shifts Day Night Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
