Site Supervision

- Supervise daily construction activities on site.

- Allocate work to masons, carpenters, bar benders, electricians, plumbers, and helpers.

- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

- Monitor productivity and ensure daily targets are achieved.

Quality Control

- Check line, level, plumb, dimensions, and workmanship.

- Ensure proper reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, and finishing quality.

- Verify materials before use.

- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Labour Management

- Manage labour attendance and productivity.

- Coordinate with subcontractors.

- Resolve day-to-day site issues.

- Train workers on correct construction practices.

Material Management

- Estimate daily material requirements.

- Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage.

- Check delivered materials for quantity and quality.

- Maintain stock records.

Safety

- Ensure workers use PPE.





- Enforce site safety rules.

- Report accidents and unsafe conditions immediately.

- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

Coordination

- Coordinate with project engineers, architects, consultants, and suppliers.

- Communicate work progress and site issues.

- Arrange inspections when required.

Documentation

- Maintain daily site diary.

- Record labour strength and work progress.

- Report delays and material shortages.

- Assist in measurement and billing activities.

Requirements

- Diploma/ITI or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).

- 510 years of construction site experience (depending on project size).

- Ability to read construction drawings.

- Knowledge of RCC, masonry, finishing, plumbing, and basic electrical works.

- Positive leadership and communication skills.
