About- The University of Lucknow has invited applications from eligible candidates for Subject Expert and Guest Faculty positions on a temporary, need-based basis for teaching postgraduate courses in M.Sc. Molecular & Human Genetics, M.Sc. Botany, and M.Sc. Microbiology . Candidates meeting the prescribed qualifications are invited to participate in the scheduled walk-in interviews.

Eligibility/Qualification

Essential Qualifications

- Qualification as per University norms.
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Life Sciences or allied disciplines.
- Qualified UGC-CSIR NET/GATE.

Desirable Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates having:

- Doctoral/Postdoctoral research experience.
- Expertise in Molecular Biology.
- Biochemistry.
- Human Genetics.
- Biotechnology.
- Bioinformatics.

Selected Subject Experts will be responsible for:

- Teaching M.Sc. Molecular and Human Genetics students.
- Delivering lectures and practical sessions.
- Assisting in postgraduate academic activities.
- Supporting research-oriented teaching and student mentoring.

Eligibility/Qualification

Candidates Should Possess:

- Master’s Degree in Botany with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian or foreign university.

Additionally,
- Must have qualified UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/SET or an equivalent examination recognized by UGC.

OR

- Candidates holding a Ph.D. awarded as per UGC Regulations (2009/2016/2018) are exempted from the NET/SLET/SET requirement.

Relaxation A relaxation of 5% marks at the Master’s level is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently Abled/EWS candidates as per UGC, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and University of Lucknow norms.

Selected Candidates Will:

- Teach postgraduate students in the M.Sc. Botany (Self-Financed) programme.
- Conduct lectures and practical classes.
- Assist in departmental academic activities.
- Participate in student mentoring and curriculum delivery.
