Role & responsibilities

- Estimate donor hemoglobin (Hb) and perform blood grouping.
- Maintain blood and blood component inventory.
- Preserve blood products and maintain the cold chain.
- Prepare blood components.
- Perform transfusion-transmitted infection (TTI) testing.
- Conduct ABO/Rh blood grouping, cross-matching, DCT, and ICT.
- Issue blood and blood components safely.
- Perform apheresis procedures. .
- Maintain quality control, EQAS, and blood bank records. .
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Medical Officer

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualification: DMLT / B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in a Blood Bank setup
- Sound knowledge of blood banking procedures and blood components
- Hands-on experience in ABO/Rh blood grouping and cross-matching
