Job Summary:

We are looking for a UT Operator to perform ultrasonic testing of steel and alloy steel castings (500 kg25 MT) and ensure internal quality as per approved procedures, applicable standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform ultrasonic testing of steel and alloy steel castings as per approved procedures.
- Calibrate UT equipment, select suitable probes and set reference blocks before inspection.
- Detect, locate and evaluate internal defects such as shrinkage, porosity, cracks and inclusions.
- Mark identified indications on castings and evaluate results against applicable acceptance criteria.
- Prepare accurate UT inspection reports and maintain NDT records for traceability.
- Coordinate with QA, Foundry and Methoding teams for defect analysis and corrective action.
- Ensure safe handling and inspection of heavy castings and follow all safety procedures.

Required Skills: Good knowledge of UT testing, equipment calibration, defect interpretation, engineering drawings and applicable NDT standards, with solid attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
