Job/Position Description- Dr. SPM IIIT-Naya Raipur, established by the International Institute of Information Technology University Act, 2013 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, is a joint venture by Chhattisgarh State Government and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).

IIIT – NR invites online applications from well qualified and strongly motivated Indian nationals for Temporary Faculty Positions in the Departments of Computer Science and Engineering and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Only consolidated monthly as mentioned below shall be payable during the period of engagement and in addition to this no special pay, DA, HRA, TA, medical allowance, etc. shall be admissible. Further, there shall be no eligibility for annual increment under such appointment. Director, at his discretion, may extend residential accommodation, telephone, travel and other facilities.

Salary/Remuneration (consolidated per month) Eligibility Rs. 70,000.00/- Ph.D. awarded Rs. 55,000.00/- Ph.D. thesis submitted Duration Duration of engagement shall be one semester to start, and may be extended on semester to semester as per institute policy.

Maximum duration of appointment in the entire career of a person shall be limited to 05 semesters. Other Benefits Faculty shall be eligible for travelling allowance for attending conference/workshop/paper presentation as payable to the concerned equivalent regular post.

Further, they shall also be eligible for Cumulative Career development Allowance (CPDA) in proportion to their period of engagement as payable to concerned equivalent regular post.

- Mode of Selection:



The selection process consists of Seminar Presentation / Interview. The shortlisted candidate will be invited to give a selection test/seminar. Based on their performance, only the candidates recommended in the selection test/seminar shall attend the interview before the selection panel.
- Preference will be given to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female categories.
