SVNIT, Surat, India, invites applications for Teaching Assistants Posts in SVNIT from eligible and interested candidates

About- The Parliament of India founded the Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat in 1961 as a public technical university. It is one of India’s 31 National Institutes of Technology designated as a National Institute of National Importance by the Indian government.

Research/Job Area- Chemical Engineering or allied branch

Location- SVNIT, Surat, India

Eligibility/Qualification– Category Monthly Remuneration (Rs.) First class or an equivalent CGPA (min. 6.5 on the scale of 10) in M.Tech./M.E. and B.Tech./B.E. (in Chemical Engineering or allied branch) with good academic record. Rs. 45,000/- Ph.D. (in Chemical Engineering or allied branch) with First class or an equivalent CGPA (min. 6.5 on the scale of 10) in M.Tech./M.E. and B.Tech./B.E. (in Chemical Engineering or allied branch) with positive academic record. Rs. 60,000/-

Job/Position Description- The Institute is going to conduct walk-in-interview in offline mode (written test or/and interview) for the post of Teaching Assistants (purely on ad-hoc basis) in Department of Chemical Engineering on 16th June 2025. (Ref. No. : Dean/Acad./TA/45/2024-25 Dated: 30/04/2024).





How To Apply- The prescribed application form is available on the Institute website. The schedule for walk- in-interview is as follows:

Exam/Interview Date Time Registration and Document verification 16/06/2025 10:00 am – 11:00 am Written Test 16/06/2025 11:00 am – 12:00 am Interview 16/06/2025 01:00 pm onwards The candidates are requested to remain present with filled application in the prescribed form only, along with original supporting documents such as degree certificates, semester- wise mark sheets, experience certificates, testimonials, etc. and one set of self attested copy of the same documents at 10:00 am in the Department of Chemical Engineering on 16th June 2025 (Monday).

For the same level of performance, preference will be given to reserved category and PwD category candidates.

Any wrong or misleading information supplied by the candidate may lead to summarily rejection of the application / appointment, if found subsequently.

Application on plain paper or incomplete application will not be accepted.
