Sr. SAP MM/WM Consultant (Remote Job)

Role Overview:

As a Senior SAP MM/WM Consultant with 10 to 20 years of profound experience, you will be instrumental in architecting, implementing, and optimizing complex SAP Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM)/Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions for our diverse client base.

This role demands a strategic thinker who can lead end-to-end project lifecycles, from conceptual design and blueprinting to configuration, testing, and post-go-live support.

You will collaborate closely with clients, understanding their intricate business processes, and translating them into robust SAP solutions that drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance operational visibility.

Your expertise will directly impact our clients' supply chain effectiveness, inventory accuracy, and overall business performance, positioning you as a trusted advisor and a key contributor to their digital transformation journey.

This is a remote position, primarily catering to projects based out of Mumbai and Pune, requiring a high degree of self-motivation and independent execution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of comprehensive SAP MM, WM, and EWM solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Conduct in-depth workshops and requirement gathering sessions with key business stakeholders, translating complex operational needs into detailed functional specifications and solution designs.
- Provide expert guidance and hands-on configuration for SAP MRP (Materials Requirements Planning), inventory management, procurement, and warehouse processes, optimizing material flow and stock levels.




- Oversee integration points between SAP MM/WM/EWM and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, PP, FICO) or external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process execution.
- Develop and execute test plans, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide comprehensive training to end-users to ensure successful solution adoption and operational readiness.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering strategic advice on SAP roadmap, system enhancements, and continuous process improvement initiatives to maximize client ROI.
- Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge, and contribute to the development of best practices and intellectual property within the SAP consulting practice.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated mastery in SAP MM, SAP WM, and SAP EWM modules, encompassing extensive experience in configuration, customization, integration, and support across multiple full lifecycle implementations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex SAP projects, including scope definition, resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of identifying critical business challenges and architecting innovative SAP solutions to address them effectively.
- Solid communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with senior client leadership, facilitating workshops, and articulating technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline from a premier institution.
- High degree of self-discipline and adaptability to a remote working environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
