Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior SAP FICO Functional Consultant to support business-side finance validation and accounting analysis.

The primary focus of this role is to assist business users in determining the correct accounting treatment of financial transactions within SAP. The consultant will provide functional guidance on postings, account determination, and booking logic, while supporting validation and testing activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Support business users in validating financial transactions and accounting postings within SAP FI/CO.
- Advise on the correct accounting treatment for business transactions.
- Determine the appropriate G/L accounts for specific business scenarios.
- Guide users on the correct posting types and document flows.
- Analyse financial postings and identify inconsistencies or incorrect accounting entries.
- Support functional testing and business validation of SAP finance processes.




- Collaborate with finance stakeholders, business users, and project teams to resolve functional issues.
- Document findings and recommend corrective actions where required.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes.
- Solid accounting knowledge, including General Ledger, journal entries, reconciliation, and financial posting logic.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into correct SAP accounting processes.
- Experience supporting finance users during testing, validation, and issue resolution.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English is required.
