To provide end-to-end legal support for commercial office and retail business, including leasing, contracts, legal advisory, regulatory compliance, dispute management and risk mitigation.

Role & responsibilities

- Draft, review and negotiate lease deeds, leave & licence agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs and other commercial contracts.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts with power producers including power purchase agreements, shareholders agreements etc. for transition to green energy.
- Provide legal advice to business teams on commercial, contractual and operational matters.
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical risk mitigation measures.
- Handle legal notices, disputes, claims and coordinate with external counsel.
- Support leasing transactions, due diligence, stamping, registration and documentation.
- Advise on real estate laws, property matters, SEZ laws, municipal laws, building regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.




- Develop and standardise legal templates, checklists and SOPs.
- Work closely with Leasing, Operations, Marketing, Projects, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely legal support.
- Business oriented with the ability to provide practical, solution-driven legal advice while effectively balancing legal risk with commercial objectives.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to build robust relationships and work seamlessly across cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, responsive, and capable of partnering with business teams to facilitate transactions, support business growth and having the bent to be instrumental in business.

Preferred candidate profile

- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 10 to 14 years of post-qualification experience in a corporate legal department/ reputed law firm.
- Experience in commercial real estate, leasing, contracts and regulatory matters will be preferred.
