We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager Accounting & Business Services (Australian Accounting) who is passionate about building high-performing teams, delivering exceptional client outcomes, and driving business growth.

Working closely with Partners & Directors, you will lead a team of professionals across Business Services, Tax Compliance and Advisory, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely and client-focused solutions. This role has a significant influence across the division, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, develop future talent and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.

What You'll Do:

- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of accountants and advisors, fostering a collaborative and positive culture.
- Deliver high-quality accounting, taxation, compliance and advisory services to a base of high growth innovative technology and life science start ups
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service, client retention and revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to provide value-added advisory services and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Work closely with Partners and Directors to drive strategic growth and operational improvements across the division.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise across accounting,



taxation and business advisory matters in particular for high growth innovative technology and life science start ups
- Review complex financial statements, tax compliance obligations and advisory engagements.
- Ensure work is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest professional standards.
- Support and contribute to Prime's One Connected culture by collaborating across divisions and identifying referral opportunities.
- Drive team engagement, performance, development and succession planning initiatives.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes, industry developments and emerging opportunities to support clients proactively.
- Contribute to business-wide initiatives, strategic projects and continuous improvement programs.

What We're Looking For:

- 10+ years of experience within Accounting & Business Services, Public Practice or a similar qualified services environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.
- Strong technical knowledge across accounting, taxation, business compliance and advisory services relating high growth innovative technology and life science start ups
- Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships while delivering exceptional service outcomes, including availability for early morning and late evening calls with clients in the US and EU
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth and client value creation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Ability to balance independent decision-making with collaboration across leadership teams.

Qualifications

- CA or equivalent professional qualification (Essential)
- Current member of CA ANZ or CPA Australia (Essential)
- Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Accounting or equivalent (Desirable)
- Experience In Life Science (Desirable)
