Partner with operations management to forecast staffing needs and ensure the timely deployment of personnel to achieve targets.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to hiring.
- Design and implement a comprehensive onboarding program to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Manage the issuance of employee documents such as ID cards and appointment letters.
- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Implement and daily monitor the 5S system, conduct awareness sessions and maintain meticulous records for audit.
- Cultivate harmonious employee relationships and serve as a trusted point of contact for all HR-related matters.
- Implement effective strategies to reduce absenteeism and attrition.
- Proactively address and resolve employee grievances, disciplinary issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Coordinating with Head HR for implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews and feedback.
- Ensure strict adherence to all statutory compliances as per labor laws, including PF, ESI, Gratuity, PT, LWF, Bonus and other relevant acts.
- Manage time and attendance and oversee the complete payroll process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update the HR Management Information System (HRMIS) and other employee records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ensure seamless execution of customer and statutory audits with zero critical non-conformances (NCs) through proactive document preparation and strict adherence to compliance frameworks.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure full compliance and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with the safety team to enforce a strong safety culture and ensure all safety protocols are followed by all employees.
- Develop and implement rewards & recognition and employee engagement programs and events.
- Oversee all general administration for the plant, including security, housekeeping, and vendor management.
- This is not exhaustive and apart from the above tasks mentioned, any additional assignments and tasks assigned by the Head HR should be executed effectively.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: 7 - 12 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a significant focus on plant operations or industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Social Work (MSW) or Master of Human Resources Management (MHRM)
- Skills:
- Proven ability to work independently and manage the full spectrum of HR functions.
- Deep knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliances, and industrial relations.
- Experience in managing payroll and HRMIS.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
- A proactive, results-oriented and diplomatic approach to problem-solving.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
