ADA, Ministry of Defence, India invites application for Scientist/Engineer ‘G’ Position from eligible and interested candidates
About- ADA is an Autonomous Organization under the Department of Defence Research & Development, Ministry of Defence (MOD), Government of India, entrusted with the design & development of both the Air Force and Naval versions of Light Combat Aircraft (Tejas) and LCA Mark-II.

Research/Job Area- A list of acceptable equivalent discipline of Engineering is given below :
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering
- Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering
- Electrical with Communication Engineering
- Electrical Power System Engineering
- Electrical & Renewable Energy Engineering
- Power Engineering
- Power Electronics Engineering
More Opportunities Location- Eligibility/Qualification– Only Indian Nationals need apply. Educational Qualification Essential/Desired Essential: At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics / Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering only from a recognized University. (Please refer to para F below for list of acceptable equivalent discipline)
Desirable: Ph D OR Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology with specialization in any of the above mentioned disciplines only from a recognized University/Institution. Nature and area of Experience required Essential: A minimum of 15 years experience in one or more of the following areas:
Fighter aircraft pre-flight operations & maintenance including integration of electrical/ navigational/avionics /radar/EW/weapon system(s)/ Operations of test facilities & Aircraft simulators
Experience in aircraft development project(s) including prototype aircraft development/ project management of Aeronautical Project(s) /aircraft development
Desirable: Experience in one or more of the following areas is desired:
Technical experience in front /second line fighter aircraft maintenance at naval aircraft repair Yard.
Experience in Carrier based aircraft development project(s) including prototype aircraft development and production.
Interface of aircraft navigational/ electrical/avionics & EMI/EMC on carrier, aircraft certification and induction into service.
Experience in generation of aircraft technical documentation including defining interface for aircraft design and development.
A minimum of 3 years experience in Leadership role
Minimum Essential Experience 15 years Age as on closing date of the advertisement 50 years
Weightage for higher qualification will be given based on the following conditions:
- Weightage for higher qualification is equated to research experience and given as :
- Post Graduate Qualification in Engineering: 2 years of weightage.
- Doctorate Degree in Engineering: 4 years of weightage.
Note : Dissertation of ME/M.Tech or Project/Dissertation/Thesis in case of Doctorate Degree in Engineering must be in the field relevant to the required area of experience for the given post. Job/Position Description- Post Scientist/Engineer ‘G’ No. of Post(s) 01 Pay Level / Basic Pay Level–14 (1,44,200-2,18,200) of Pay Matrix. Minimum Basic Pay : Rs.1,44,200/-
How To Apply- Candidates are requested to register their applications online on RAC website https://rac.gov.in or ADA web site: https://www.ada.gov.in. Application registration on the website will be kept open from 20/05/2022 to 23/06/2022(midnight).
Candidates are not required to send print out of application by post.
One set of copies of the self-attested certificates in proof of qualifications and experience should be brought at the time of interview along with the application form; however, candidates will be required to produce all original certificates for verification.
