Job Title: Production Supervisor – Export Shipments (Pumps & Valves)

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on, semi-technical Production Supervisor to oversee final assembly, quality checks, and export shipment execution for high-precision pumps and valves.

In this role, you will lead a team of ~30 shop-floor workers, coordinating closely with Production Planning and Sales to ensure on-time, defect-free export dispatches. You must be an empathetic, firm leader capable of managing people at all levels—from shop-floor operators to senior department heads.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Direct, motivate, and manage a team of ~30 shop-floor operators and dispatch technicians to hit daily output and packing targets.
- Shipment Execution: Work hand-in-hand with Production Planners and the Sales/Export team to align daily production schedules with dispatch deadlines and export documentation.
- Semi-Technical Supervision: Oversee final assembly, routine inspection, and export packing of pumps and valves to ensure adherence to international quality standards.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between the shop floor, planning, sales, and logistics teams.
- Process & Safety Control:



Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs), 5S, and safety compliance are strictly followed during assembly and loading.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or relevant technical field.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing facility (experience in pumps, valves, flow control, or foundry/machining setups preferred).
- People Management: Proven track record of leading 20+ workers, resolving shop-floor conflicts, and maintaining discipline.
- Communication & Adaptability: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels—fluent in local languages (Kannada/Marathi/Hindi) for shop-floor management, with working English for cross-department coordination.
- Export Knowledge: Basic familiarity with export packing norms, dispatch schedules, and working with planning teams.
