Eligibility/Qualification- Essential Qualification & Experience Ph.D. in Life Sciences/Chemistry/Physics with a minimum of ten years of post-PhD experience, out of which at least five years must be industrial experience Desirable Qualifications Knowledge of IPR and Business Development Experience of working in an innovation hub/incubator.





Job/Position Description- Name of the post Principal Scientific Officer Number of posts 01 Fixed Monthly

Remuneration INR 1,87,060/- Job requirements To facilitate networking with industry and other academic institutions To establish a career development /placement cell in the institute and foster international linkages To promote entrepreneurship among students and faculty by initiating an Incubation Centre for start-ups To initiate courses/training programs in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and pursue licensing of institute IPR

Shall be responsible for processing and submitting applications for institute national and international ranking and affiliations/accreditations

Other duties assigned by the head of the institute. Tenure For an initial period of one year, renewal shall be subject to satisfactory performance.
