Job Specification

As an ideal candidate for this role, you should have a background in transmission lines EPC company with a minimum of 10 years and having minimum 8 years of design portfolio.

You will be responsible for designing, value engineering, overseeing and managing the transmission line projects efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and review 132kV and above large scale overhead Transmission line projects effectively.

· Review ITB document and identification of Risk

· Review Contract document and preparation of clarification

· Review Geographical study report, Environmental Impact Assessment, Power system Analysis report.

· Review/Performing Transmission line planning, Terrain modelling, conductor Sizing, Tower spotting, Sag & tension Calculation using PLS-CADD.

· Review/selection of Hardware & fittings and Grounding system

· Preparation of Bill of material (BOM)

· [Procurement support] Preparation of Design criteria, material requestion (MR) and TBE and pre-bid vendor co-ordination.

· Vendor document review and co-ordination

· Value engineering in transmission line.





· Inter disciplinary co-ordination

· Client co-ordination during engineering and Project execution period.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

· Monitor project progress and report on milestones.

· Troubleshoot and site visit during project execution for technical support as and when required.

· Ability and willingness to depute project location as needed in the U.S., Australia, Gulf region etc. to support assignments on projects and overall office needs.

· Ensure that all duties are carried out according to the company's Quality Systems Procedures.

· Self-starter with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate effectively with internal team members and external clients.

· Flexibility to work in different roles for different clients both locally and worldwide.

· Familiarity with design codes and standards such as IEC, IEEE, AS/NZS

QQualifications Required

· Bachelor's/ Master’s degree in Electrical engineering.

· Software knowledge in MS-office, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD
