Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Medical Coder E&M; Inpatient (IP) with 2–6 years of experience in Evaluation & Management (E&M;) Inpatient coding. The candidate should possess strong expertise in reviewing inpatient medical records and assigning accurate codes based on ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E&M; coding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze inpatient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Assign accurate E&M; Inpatient codes in compliance with coding guidelines and payer requirements.
- Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes appropriately.
- Ensure coding accuracy, quality, and productivity targets are consistently met.
- Identify documentation gaps and support coding compliance initiatives.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, coding updates, and payer-specific guidelines.




- Maintain adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience in E&M; Inpatient (IP) Coding.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E&M; coding guidelines.
- Excellent analytical and medical documentation review skills.
- Positive understanding of coding compliance and regulatory standards.
- Ability to maintain high-quality coding and productivity benchmarks.
- CPC, CCS, CIC, COC, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Life Science Graduates preferred.
