Name of the Post : Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer

Type of the Post: Contractual on Full Time basis.

Number of Posts : 9 (Nine)

Place of Posting : Chennai / Lucknow

Period of Contract: The Term of Contract would initially be for a period of Three (03) years, extendable, at sole discretion, for a further period of up to Two (02) years. The Contract can be terminated at Two (02) months of notice on either side or salary and allowances (if any) in lieu thereof.

Eligibility Criteria/Age Limit:

The Candidate should not be more than 40 years old as of the last date of submission of application.

Educational Qualification: Graduate Degree in Indian or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution

Experience

Minimum Five (05) years of relevant experience with minimum Three (03) years of experience in QA Engineer role.
Experience in Banking and Finance Domain will be an added advantage.

Job Profile:

Responsible for understanding requirements and analyzing business scenarios and writing test scenarios / test cases independently.
Responsible for writing test cases (manual and automation scripts) for web-portal, mobile-app, API etc.
Develop, document and execute test cases (manual and automation scripts).
Ensure end-to-end execution of test cycles.
Need to work closely with development team and other stakeholders.
Manage automation frameworks,



maintaining scripts and reporting defects.
Take part in requirement discussion.
Complete tasks related to Progression / Regression / Smoke test in each release cycle.
Preparation of Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).

Key Skills:

Minimum Five (05) years of relevant experience with minimum Three (03) years of experience in QA Engineer role.
Preferably having experience as Quality Engineer in Banking and Finance Domain.
Good knowledge of SDLC life cycle and agile methodology with respect to QA.
Good analytical skills with respect to tracking, reporting and analyzing defects.
Prepare Detailed Test Scripts, Test Cases for applications under scope in each release cycle (Manual and automation).
Ability to write Automated Test Scripts (Java, Selenium) and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and processes.
Positive to have knowledge and hands on experience on working with Maven, Gitlab and CI/CD tool like Jenkins.
Knowledge of Bug Tracking Tools like JIRA etc., MS Office Suite.
Good Knowledge of SQL Queries.
Understanding of End-to-End QA Test process

Secondary Skills:

Good exposure to SQL Queries
API Testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing, Mobile App Testing.

Excellent Verbal and Written Communication and Interpersonal Skills, professional maturity. Ready to perform in a team.
