Topic

The project focuses on research at the intersection of Machine Learning and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for gas turbine components. The selected candidate will work on developing and applying machine learning techniques to enhance modeling and prediction in turbomachinery flows.

Desired

Skills

Applicants should ideally have

Experience with CFD solvers such as ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS CFX, or OpenFOAM

Demonstrated projects or research experience in CFD

Programming experience in Python, C, or C++

Preferably familiar with machine learning methods and their application to fluid mechanics / CFD problems Eligibility (Any one of the following):





B.Tech / BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, or Computer Science with a valid GATE score

ORM.Tech / MS in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, or Computer Science Position Details Joining Date: August 2026

Salary: ₹37,000 per month + HRA (20%) as per Government of India norms (if applicable) Tenure: 6 months (extendable up to 2.5 years based on performance) Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online technical interview, where their completed projects and expertise in CFD and machine learning will be assessed.
