QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
The candidate should possess a Graduate degree in Science, Humanities, or a related discipline from a recognised university.
Preference will be given to retired officers of the Indian Army, particularly from the Infantry holding the rank of Major or above, retired Police Officers of the rank of Deputy
Superintendent of Police (Dy.SP) or above, or professionals with substantial experience in estate administration, institutional security, heritage property management, or management of large property portfolios.
Candidates should ordinarily possess 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in protecting institutional or heritage properties, handling land disputes,
preventing encroachments, coordinating eviction proceedings, or safeguarding large estates will be considered a significant advantage. Working knowledge of criminal law, revenue law,
land administration, and legal procedures relating to immovable property is highly desirable.
The successful candidate should possess strong leadership and organisational abilities, sound judgement, integrity, and the confidence to take firm and lawful decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi, together with proficiency in Microsoft
Office applications and digital record management, are essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Heritage Estate Officer shall be responsible for the overall management, maintenance,
conservation, security, and administration of all Trust properties at Khetri. The incumbent shall plan, supervise, and monitor repairs, restoration works,
preventive maintenance, and procurement relating to the Trust's estate, while ensuring the effective supervision of contractors, vendors, maintenance agencies, and security personnel to achieve high standards of quality, accountability, and cost-effectiveness.
The Officer shall take prompt and lawful measures to safeguard the Trust's properties from encroachment, trespass, illegal occupation, unauthorised construction, theft, vandalism, and any other activity prejudicial to the Trust's interests. The incumbent shall coordinate closely with the Police, Revenue Authorities, Municipal Authorities, legal counsel, contractors, and other government agencies in matters relating to the protection, maintenance, legal management, and preservation of the Trust's properties.
The Officer shall maintain accurate property records, inventories, inspection reports, revenue records, photographs, and other documentation relating to the Trust's estate. The incumbent shall conduct periodic inspections, assess security and maintenance risks, recommend corrective measures, and submit regular reports to the Managing Trustee on the physical condition, legal status, and security of the Trust's properties. The Officer shall also undertake such additional duties and special assignments as may be entrusted by the Managing Trustee from time to time in the interest of the Trust.
