Role Description The Heat Treatment Production and Process Manager is responsible for overseeing all heat treatment operations, ensuring products meet specified mechanical and metallurgical requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rohtak, focused on planning and controlling daily production activities, resource allocation, and workflow optimization in the heat treatment department.

Key responsibilities include supervising furnace operations, monitoring process parameters, implementing standard operating procedures, and coordinating with forging, machining, and quality teams to maintain consistent output. The manager will review production schedules, manage shift teams, ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards,



and drive process improvements to reduce defects, improve cycle times, and optimize energy usage. The role also involves documentation of processes, training team members, supporting audits, and contributing to capacity planning and equipment maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of heat treatment processes (e.g., quenching, tempering, normalizing, case hardening) and metallurgical principles relevant to forged components.
- Experience in production management, including planning, scheduling, resource management, and coordination of multiple shifts in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in process control and improvement methods, such as setting process parameters, root cause analysis, and applying lean manufacturing or continuous improvement techniques.
- Ability to work closely with quality assurance teams on inspection methods, documentation, and compliance with ISO/TS or similar standards.
- Knowledge of furnace operation, preventive maintenance practices, and basic understanding of industrial safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Effective leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor operators and supervisors.
- Relevant technical qualification, such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in forging, machining, or automotive/industrial component manufacturing will be an advantage.
