As a Health, Safety, and Workplace, you will be responsible for:
- Support the Operation Team with ensuring the full implementation and consistent execution of the Baker Hughes (EHS) programs and ensure compliance all applicable regulations.
- Work closely with manufacturing, facilities, and other teams to provide EHS support, mentoring, and engagement.
- Coordinate the closure of all findings and observations from audits and inspections.
- Participate on accident investigation.
- Conduct internal EHS inspections (i.e., hazardous waste areas, housekeeping, emergency response equipment, etc.)
- Provide general administrative and record-keeping support for all related regulatory records.
- Maintain EHS equipment and associated documentation requirements (e.g. Training records, injury logs, waste manifests, etc.)
- Ensure data accuracy and on time tracking and submission of HSE metrics and reports
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Master Industrial Safety and Engineering from an accredited university OR bachelor's degree with NEBOSH certification
- Have 3 -5 years of experience in Environmental Health Safety.
- Have a Manufacturing, Oil Gas background
- Have an exposure in ISO standards
- Have an experience in working on Legal requirements
- Have a technical knowledge and understanding of EHS-related laws and regulations.
- Have an excellent oral and written communication skills (including Tamil (local language))
- Have an ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
- Have an ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Have an effective problem identification and solution skills.
