Position: Head – Quality

Location: Kolkata Role Overview The Head – Production will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring timely production, optimum resource utilization, superior product quality, and continuous process improvement. The role demands a strategic leader capable of building high-performing teams while achieving business objectives through operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and monitor daily production operations to ensure smooth manufacturing.

Drive production targets while ensuring on-time delivery as per customer commitments.

Ensure adherence to quality standards, process compliance, and manufacturing best practices.

Optimize manpower, machinery, and production resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, Quality,



Industrial Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain teams for seamless execution.

Monitor production costs and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce wastage.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety, statutory regulations, and company policies.

Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to build a high-performance culture.

Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across production.

Analyze production KPIs and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and operational performance. What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Leather Technology, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Min 8 - 10 years of experience in production management within the leather goods, handbags, accessories, footwear, or similar export manufacturing industry.

Proven experience managing large production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Solid knowledge of production planning, capacity management, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and productivity improvement techniques.
