Job Summary

The Head – Engineering, Product & Business Development will lead the complete product lifecycle, from concept design and product engineering to manufacturing readiness and OEM business acquisition. The role requires strong expertise in automotive engineering, recent product development (NPD), product design, R&D;, RFQ management, APQP, PPAP, cost optimization, and strategic customer development.





This leadership role is ideal for professionals who have successfully developed automotive products such as solenoids, sensors, solenoid switches, mechatronic systems, automotive electronics, and EV components, while managing large engineering teams and driving profitable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Engineering, Product Development, R&D;, and Business Development functions.
- Develop automotive product strategies aligned with ICE and EV market trends.
- Drive complete New Product Development (NPD) from concept to Start of Production (SOP).
- Manage OEM RFQs, technical proposals, commercial negotiations, and customer presentations.
- Oversee product design, validation, testing, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and product release.
- Support manufacturing industrialization, tooling, automation, and process development.
- Drive Value Engineering (VA/VE), design-to-cost initiatives, and product cost optimization.
- Build strategic relationships with Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 customers.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams of 20+ professionals.
- Manage engineering budgets, CAPEX planning, technology roadmaps, and innovation projects.
