Research/Job Area- The Institute is looking for dedicated, committed and research oriented Indian Nationals to fill up the following vacancies through Direct Recruitment ( Four Tier Flexible System ). Name of the Post Grade Level Vacancies Reservation Category Associate Professor (CSE ⁢) 13A 2 01 UR – 1 Asst. Professor Grade -II (CSE & IT) II 10 10 UR –4; OBC – 3; SC – 1; ST – 1; EWS – 1, PwD*

Area Of Specialization/Subjects The following areas of specialization/subjects shall be acceptable:

1. Computer Science & Engineering, and Information Technology All areas in Computer Science & Engineering, and Information Technology with specialization in Software Engineering, Database and Web technologies, Computational Intelligence, Software Testing and Technology, and Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Block chain etc.

Location- Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sonepat Eligibility/Qualification– Name of the Post Grade Level Essential Qualifications Essential Experience Essential Cumulative Credit Points Desirable Requirements Associate Professor (CSE & IT) 13A2 PhD in relevant discipline (CSE or IT) with First Class at B. Tech/BE or M. Tech/ME Level 6 years after Ph.D.

experience OR 9 years of total experience (not counting Ph.D. enrolment period) out of which 3 years should be after Ph.D. Three (3) years at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs.



8000 or equivalent in a reputed University, R&D; Lab or relevant Industry. 04 papers in SCI journals after Ph.D. One Ph.D. guided as sole or principal supervisor plus one continuing.

Two projects ongoing or one ongoing plus one completed. Two experiments or computational projects added to teaching laboratories where appropriate. Academic outreach activity equivalent to two self-financed short-term courses. 01 or more patents; Supervising two or more students for Ph.D.; Strong liaison with industry.

Offering courses through application of ICT. Asst. Professor (CSE, IT) II 10 PhD in relevant discipline (CSE/ IT/) with First Class at B. Tech/BE or M.Tech /ME Level NIL NIL Two Research Papers published or accepted in any of the Journals covered under any one of the major citation indexes: Web of Science (SCI/SCIE/SSCI/ Master Journal List), IEEE/ACM/Scopus only.

Ongoing Research

Projects. Patent granted. 4.Recipient of Prestigious Awards/ Fellowships. NPTEL / SWAYAM Activities Participation.

Experience of Industry Collaboration.

Note: -For Faculty positions in CSE and IT candidates not having Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Technology are not eligible to apply.

Job/Position Description- The total salary includes Pay in the Pay Level as per 7th CPC, Transport Allowance, Dearness Allowance, HRA/Accommodation and NPS-Employer’s contribution as per Government of India rules from time to time.

Expectations From The Faculty Apart from teaching fundamental core and elective subjects, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Sonepat expects active contribution of its faculties towards:

- Development of IIIT, Sonepat as a Brand in cutting age research related to Information Technology & Allied Fields.
- Development of Corpus Funds for the Institute through Testing, Design or Research Consultancy.
- Establishment & Development of Undergraduate / Post Graduate / PhD Research Laboratories for Academic, Research and Consultancy Activities.
- Development of Intellectual Property Rights with Institution affiliation.
- Achievement of high standards of excellence in Academic, Research and Industry team-oriented endeavors.
- Building of strong Institute-Industry collaboration.




- Achievement of highest level of prescribed standards required for global competitiveness and Outcome Based Education (OBE).
