Company Description Salfia School was established in 1965 under The Anjuman Ahl-e-Hadith Trust in Darbhanga, initially as Salfia Junior School offering education up to 7th class. The school expanded in 1997 to include classes up to 10th and became known as Salfia School. In 2011, it received affiliation from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), strengthening its academic standards and curriculum.
As one of the first schools of its kind in Darbhanga, Salfia School emphasizes both modern education and strong moral values, offering learners a balanced and structured environment for growth.
Role Description The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for assigned grade levels. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching grammar, literature, and language skills, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves maintaining classroom discipline, supporting students’ holistic development, and collaborating with other teachers and school administration to enhance the learning experience.
The English
Teacher will also participate in staff meetings, examinations, and school activities as required. This is a full time, on-site role based at Salfia School in Darbhanga.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience in classroom instruction.
Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Education skills to design structured, curriculum-aligned lessons.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for clear instruction and collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field; a teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
Prior experience teaching English at school level, ideally with familiarity with CBSE curriculum.
Ability to create an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and support diverse learning needs.
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a commitment to students’ academic and moral development.
