Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facility &

- Maintenance Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of industrial facilities and utility systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of HVAC, MEP, electrical, plumbing, water systems, CCTV and other facility infrastructure while maintaining safety, statutory compliance, and cost efficiency. The role also includes project execution, preventive maintenance planning, vendor management, budgeting, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Operations

- Manage day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring uninterrupted functioning of all utility systems.

- Maintain industrial buildings, office spaces, hostels, common areas, and infrastructure.

- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, DG sets, compressors, water treatment systems, and MEP services.

Maintenance Management

- Develop and implement Preventive, Predictive, and Breakdown Maintenance programs.

- Monitor equipment health and minimize downtime through effective maintenance planning.

- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, SOPs, and equipment history.

- Coordinate Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and service schedules.

HVAC &

- Utility Systems

- Supervise installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems.

- Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with environmental and refrigerant regulations.

Project Management

- Plan and execute CAPEX and minor infrastructure development projects.

- Coordinate office renovations, civil works, waterproofing, utility upgrades and facility improvement projects.

- Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, project schedules and progress reports.





- Ensure projects are completed within budget, timeline and quality standards.

Budget &

- Cost Control

- Prepare and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets.

- Monitor maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

- Verify contractor bills, quotations, and purchase requests.

Safety &

- Compliance

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.

- Coordinate audits related to facility management and utilities.

- Promote protected working practices among employees and contractors.

Vendor &

- Contractor Management

- Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and contractors.

- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

- Negotiate service contracts and optimize procurement costs.

Security &

- Infrastructure

- Supervise CCTV systems and security-related infrastructure.

- Coordinate maintenance of access control systems and surveillance equipment.

- Support facility security improvement initiatives.

Documentation &

- Reporting

- Prepare MIS reports, maintenance reports, and monthly performance dashboards.

- Maintain asset registers and maintenance documentation using SAP or CMMS.

- Analyse maintenance KPIs and recommend improvements.

Team Management

- Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and support staff.

- Allocate work, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance.





- Conduct training on maintenance procedures and safety practices.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

- 48 years of experience in Industrial Facility Management or Maintenance Engineering.

- Experience in manufacturing plants, commercial buildings or large industrial campus.
