About the Role : PropChk is looking for a highly experienced City Business Manager to drive strategic business growth and oversee comprehensive city-level operations. This is a critical leadership position designed to establish single-point accountability across sales, project execution, and finance for the Bengaluru region.

The ideal candidate will possess robust technical knowledge of the real estate and construction industry, ensuring sustainable business growth, operational excellence, and strict profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development & Sales:
- Generate and secure new business from developers, builders, architects, contractors, PMCs, and corporate clients.
- Build and maintain high-level client relationships, prepare commercial proposals,



negotiate contracts, and close complex business deals.
- Own and achieve monthly and annual city-level sales targets.

* Operations & Execution Management:

- Oversee all day-to-day business operations within the city.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional technical and operations teams to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality inspection services.
- Guarantee the timely delivery of inspection reports and maintain high customer satisfaction standards.

* Financial & P&L; Management:

- Manage and take full accountability for the financial performance of the Bengaluru business operations.
- Prepare and rigorously monitor city-level budgets, revenue forecasts, and Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements.
- Ensure effective cost control, optimal resource utilization, and implement localized strategies to drive profitability.

* Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional sales and operations teams.
- Set operational targets, monitor daily performance, and ensure effective communication and collaboration across all city departments.

*Technical Knowledge & Skills Required:

- Robust B2B sales and business development acumen.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and the overall project lifecycle.
- Ability to confidently discuss and navigate technical requirements with engineering clients.
- Proven expertise in budgeting, financial planning, and P&L; management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

*Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in Business Development or Business Management.
- Direct experience in the Real Estate and Construction industry is strictly mandatory.
