Role Description This is a full time, on-site Career Counselor role based in Ahmedabad.

The Career

Counselor will guide students and professionals in identifying suitable education and career paths through individual counseling sessions, assessments, and structured discussions. Daily responsibilities include conducting career guidance workshops, providing support with resume building and interview preparation, and helping individuals understand industry trends and job opportunities. The role also involves maintaining accurate counseling records, collaborating with internal teams to design career development programs,



and offering ongoing follow-up to track progress and outcomes.

The counselor will be expected to create a supportive, inclusive environment that empowers individuals to make informed, realistic career decisions aligned with their strengths and aspirations.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling to support individuals in exploring options and making informed career decisions.

- Experience in Career Development and Career Management to help individuals plan, set goals, and navigate long-term career growth.

- Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to explain complex information in accessible terms.

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Human Resources, Counseling, or a related field; a relevant master's degree or counseling certification is an advantage.

- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student and professional populations in a non-judgmental, inclusive manner.

- Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in maintaining counseling records and reports.

- Familiarity with current labor market trends, education pathways, and skill requirements across industries.

- Proficiency with basic computer applications and online tools used for assessments, scheduling, and reporting.
